Memphis

St. Louis

This is the Gateway Arch. You can get a tram to the very top of it, which we did.

And this is the view from up there. Its 630 feet high!

Indianapolis

Spent the morning browsing Mass Ave, which is the main street there. It has lots of arty things there which were fun to look at.

This was a huge painting on the side of a building!

One of the best chocolate desserts I've ever had, i think about it often.

Chicago

When we got to Chicago, we were starving so we ordered pizza! It turns out its a famous pizza place in Chicago but we didn't realise until afterwards! SOOOO good, but seriously it was so thick we could only eat a few slices each!

The famous Bean

Our reflection in it!

The chicago skyline reflected in it

Chicago has so many arty things. This was a water feature that changed from person to person.

We ended the day going on a Ferris wheel that scared us both half to death!

Milwaukee

After spending the afternoon in Minneapolis, we headed into Milwaukee. We had a browse in TJ Maxx ( they call it TJ here!), Laura spent more money, and headed down where they were setting up to watch a baseball game. We didn't stay long because we were going to Chicago that night, and Laura doesn't do driving in the dark.

Minneapolis

We spent the afternoon having a walk around the town centre. It was pretty quiet and laid back, but nice to walk around all the same.

My DREAM! a kfc, all you can eat BUFFET!!!!!!! so amazing, we need to have these at home!

Just thought I'd put these chaps in!

Black Hills/Rapid City

We got to see Mount Rushmore, which is the carvings of, from Left to Right, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln! Just one of the things you've gotta see when you're in America!
